Always love to hear you skronking it out on guitar. This song is a great example of this unconscious thing great songwriters tend to do. A more staccato melody in the verses, and then a more stretched out and dynamic melody in the chorus (lovely, btw). The ear really wants that change…like food pellets dropped from the universe. If you ever find cause to do a retreat for songwriters, sign me up.
