Chit-Chat Check-In #80: Hi, Cheryl
A lively conversation in the Starship Casual mess hall
Cheryl Pawelski of Omnivore Recordings came to town to work on some Wilco archives, and when she was here, sat in my seat at the Loft lunch table. It’s OK, I’m totally over it. Water under the bridge. I definitely didn’t mention it multiple times in today’s Chit-Chat Check-In.
I’m running around this week, getting ready to leave for Wilco’s shows in Japan. Crystal and Mark will be at the helm while I’m adjusting to a new time zone—just wanted to give you a heads up. And to say hi to Cheryl, even if she did sit in my seat.
OxO—Jeffy
P.S. Cheryl, mentioned above, is the heretofore unnamed author of each “This Week in Wilco, etc.” segment. Thanks, Cheryl!
This Week in Wilco, Etc.

Have fun on tour Captain-hope you’re feeling back to tip top shape! Oh Crystal and Mark, what time did you say the secret Starship Casual Loft party started again?
Next year, an On This Day that notes the time Cheryl sat in Jeff’s chair.
That said, I will fight a cat who dares take my spot.
Safe travels to Japan! Remember: no new hips in the metal detector. They don’t like it when you forget about new joints. Don’t ask me how I know.
