Chit-Chat Check-In #131 Transcript

Hello, this is your Captain speaking. As you may or may not know, there's a great documentary on Netflix right now, if you have that streaming service, about Devo. I've always loved Devo. I knew a lot about Devo, and I still really enjoyed it quite a bit.

And it also reminded me that I've always thought there must be some Devo song that I could turn into a folk song and sing convincingly. And I'm still not sure that that's the case, but I did think of "Freedom of Choice," and I did do my best to make it into something that sounds natural to me.

I love so many Wilco (laughs)--not Wilco, god--I love so many Devo songs. And would have loved to do some of the other ones. And maybe I'll find another one that I can try to make sense of for myself.

Until then, I'll just keep listening to Devo. And loving them so, so, very much. I think that's it. It's getting pretty close to Twilight Override time. I think there's going to be another song soon that we can hear.
