Chit-Chat Check-In #128 Transcript
Hello, this is your Captain speaking. Remember a few weeks ago when I asked for requests? I bet you thought I forgot. Well, I didn't forget. There were so many great suggestions, but I picked this one because I think it's timeless, and sad, and appropriate, sadly, almost always.
It's an Elvis Costello song, written with Clive Langer. I really am particularly fond of the Robert Wyatt version of it, which I think is what I'm most hearing in my head and emulating with this version.
"Shipbuilding"—it's just an unbelievable song. I'll just leave it at that this week, and let you know that there we'll probably be having another post regarding some information about Twilight Override, the triple record that's coming out not too long from now. That will be part of a post next week.
Alright, carry on.
