I have names for all the squirrels in my yard. I make peanut butter sandwiches for them! Not gonna try that almond trick with my teeth, however. Have you seen how much porcelain crowns are these days???
I love that I finally picked up a copy of How to Write One Song and that I could do so from my favorite independent bookstore, Birchbark Books, owned by highly accomplished Minneapolis author Louise Erdrich. Both are inspirational people. Along the lines of inspirational...a quick shout out to Aimee Mann for Queens of the Summer Hotel. It finally dawned on me that the dysfunctional characters she has drawn for many years spring from empathy rather than judgmentalism. I love how much empathy flows from 1Jeff Tweedy.

I’m the woman in line with a Wilco tattoo. Definitely weird. And my god, the split almond satisfaction is real!
Phew, I’m not the only weirdo documenting trees!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Parquet Courts! So much energy and dense lyrics all the time.
Gordon Shumway is a national treasure.
Alf Tattoo... Where - Exactly where on the body? Need to know...
Don’t break you front teeth! I generally split almonds with my front molars. I LOVE weirdos, thank you for the laugh!!
LOVE all of this. Thank the gods for Jeff and all the weirdness!
Haha that last note made me chortle. (We might have named all the white squirrels that live in our backyard!)
“… database of their family trees.” I see what you did there, Jeff. 🙂
I know I am behind but this is my favorite starship casual post ever. So real in all the content. Energy.
Nice shout out to parquet courts - sweet song

That picture is priceless. Jeffy is a goofball.
I guess the "wait and see if it's painful, then get a root canal" must have turned out okay, if you're gleefully torturing your teeth with almonds 😁
May I report that I created a folder in my email labeled "Jeff Tweedy" just to put these musings in a special place 🤓
