This is a long overdue "thank you". I have requested Feed of Man for numerous Wilco shows. I must say, when you guys played it at Solid Sound I felt recognized, important, and overwhelmed with emotion. I'm not foolish enough to think that you played that song just for me, but in that moment that's exactly how I felt. Dancing like a fool with teary eyes. You can't possibly know just how much joy you and Wilco have blessed my wife and I with through the years, and Solid Sound this year was just so great in so many ways. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We'll see you next month in Columbus. If you've got time for a hike, there are some amazing trails nearby!
I was absolutely appalled not only that they played that, but at how wordy it is. I've listened to it throughout the years but never appreciated how verbose and exhausting it must be to sing it until that night.

Those Sept. ‘04 shows are special to me. The St. Louis one was my first postpartum concert. I sobbed through “Hummingbird” and “Muzzle of Bees,” so I’m requesting both or either. See ya in Champagne!
