The closest thing to a tumbleweed that I’ve ever seen is a ball of cat fur blowing down my hallway, propelled by the forced air heating vent.

That’s funny because the closest thing I’VE also seen is a ball of cat fur that I’ve pulled off my pant legs from my 4 cats haha

"Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweed..." Looks like the opening to "The Big Lebowski"

My daughter is called Flora. It used to be a popular Scottish name and originates from the Roman Goddess of Spring and flowers.

Flora Macdonald was the woman who famously helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape after the Battle of Culloden, near Inverness in the Highlands and where I was born and raised.

It'll be her 4th birthday on Tuesday so she'll not be a drunk Flora... We'll she bloody well better not be! 😉

Have you seen Val Kilmer’s golden tumbleweed? If I was rich I’d buy it.

Tumbleweeds make great ornamentation...hang them from the stem and lace mini-lights through them. They look pretty cool hung from the ceiling but you might need a high ceiling.

This was one of my first fascinations when I moved to CA. One day I was driving at a pretty good rate on a nearby canyon road and one darted out in front of me. Shattered to bits. I’m still scarred. But it died doing what it loved…a tum, tum, tumbling along.
