Chit-Chat Check-In #126 • Transcript

Hello from the Jones Beach Amphitheater with Wilco, where we’re about to start the Outlaw Music Festival tour with Bob, Willie, and Lucinda.

Today I have a banjo version of one of the songs we shared from Twilight Override the other day, “One Tiny Flower.” Not a lot of songs I write pass the banjo test. This one sailed right through.

By the way, it was Starship Casual’s birthday last week. See below for a note from the trusty Engineers about Captains Club membership, physical prizes, all the technical stuff that’s over my head.

Hello, Orbit Five – A note from the Engineers

As Jeffy noted above, Starship Casual entered its fifth orbit on July 26. That means members of the Captains Club tier can expect a physical gift (or three…) in the mail soon. Yep, your real physical mailbox. Check your inbox for a message about updating your mailing address.

If you upgrade to a Captains Club membership now, you won’t get the Orbit Four mailings, but you will get the Orbit Five mailings.

Every type of Starship Casual paid membership helps propel the ’ship with professional editing, design, and archival research. You can read more about the offerings here.

Thank you and carry on! —The Engineers

Last week’s Ozzy post reached a lot of new subscribers, so the obvious next move is banjo raga. | Flyer from backstage at Royal Albert Hall in London

P.S. This official video (by Mark) features an edited version of the song. Hear the full version here. And if you’re feeling banjo-brave continue on for the Banjo Raga version of “One Tiny Flower.”
