If I could write a song it may be like this, as I have an exceptional spouse and I see life as a melancholy adventure. I don't know Jeff Tweedy at all, personally, but from his writing he strikes me as someone quite worthy of being loved. And I am sure, like most of us, he is / was loved by parents, siblings, children, cousins and (unique to him) countless fans. Yet, being loved by his partner is the most foundational / affirmational element of his life. No wonder Mr. Tweedy counts himself as being fortunate.
