A strange thing to be crying over the loss of someone I never met. My heart is aching over the news of Mimi’s passing. Thank you, Jeff, for this beautiful tribute to such a beautiful soul.
I first saw Low playing a tiny cafe on the Long Division tour and they absolutely knocked me out and changed my ideas of what was daring or "alternative" in music. Their records have meant so much to me in my life ever since. This is such a tragic loss, but the perfect beautiful music will remain and can continue to bring peace and love to people for as long as we are here to discover it. RIP Mimi and thank you for so many years of calm and fulfilling moments when I needed them most.
They were honoring Mimi last night up here on 89.3 The Current by playing some great songs. She will be so missed, but their music will definitely live on...........

'Low' is an all time favorite in my world. "Especially Me" simply kills. Mimi's singing was such a direct current of heart.
