Wait, Jeffria’s feeling kinda lazy post tour? So I’m not the only one? Also, gear talk is all good by me; it’s the hiking talk when I start snoring…🤷♂️
Finally, some gear talk😀 . Jerry Garcia’s guitar tech wrote an entire book about all his shagging and never mentioned Jerry’s frets, strings, amps etc once!
Looking forward to lots more gear talkin'. Very good piece to start with - nice to hear more about that one. My brother has a '74 P-Bass to which he added a BadAss bridge sometime in the '90s. No matter what we're working on, that bass just *works*. It weighs a thousand pounds and the finish looks like broken pearl nail polish, but it always...just...works.
Blackie is beautiful! Especially the sparkling parts! Mark’s Description of Blackie brings an image of a loving old soul that has a bear hug embrace. ♥️
Mark Greenberg is a national treasure!
I second that
Fuckin' Mark is the best!
Does John Stirratt play it as well?
John has a load of amazing basses that are his go-to basses in the studio.
I guess the perfect number of basses/guitars is n+1, where n equals the current number in your quiver😉
Great writing, Mark! I hope it’s not the last installment from you.

Probably from the high altitude, I'm sure.
"road rash and beauty marks" !! Even the gear talk is poetic! ❤
Love to hear fom Mark. cool stuff!
I am very much here for the gear talk. Welcome to the bridge, Mark!
This is the hilarious yet informative content we need right now. Thank you, Jeff and Mark!!

Ew
Now that you’re off tour, could we maybe get a Tweedy show? Pretty please??
I am so IN on this Gear Talkin'™ thing. More, please.
This is amazing! Hoping for a lot more gear talk and from both Mark and Jeff.
love this
