This Week In Wilco, Etc.
1995 / October 27: At the Paradise in Boston, AM, Wilco opens the show with two versions of “I Got You (At the End of the Century),” the first one with no bass and the second with bass. The 22-song set also includes the Golden Smog songs “Walk Where He Walked” and “I Can’t Keep from Talking.”
2021 / October 29: The Awesome Album by Mouse Rat is released in eleven different vinyl variants by Dualtone Entertainment. It includes Scott Tanner’s song “Cold Water” and the Scott Tanner-fronted band Land Ho!’s cover of “Pickled Ginger,” the Wilco Star Wars track.
1996 / October 29: Being There is released on Reprise Records.
