You and your family wrapped your comforting arms around us in that time of separation and uncertainty dear C’ptn and then the Starship took off and I’m so happy I jumped on board in the budget seats straight away then moved to Captains level after a year in when finances aligned. The card! The sticker! The envelope! Then recently the cap......The thought and wit and artistic detail is sooooo appreciated💖🙌 By jingoes this is a Ship load of delight! Yeehaa I’m loving it! .....thank YOU for being the genuine one. And for the music and poetry too of course 🙏
It seems fitting that I opened this email right after getting off the phone with a restaurant making reservations for my birthday tomorrow…I like to make the reservations myself to assure that no waitstaff will be forced to sing happy birthday at me while I figure out (as Thom Yorke so eloquently put it) how to disappear completely.

I believe Bob Newhart did a whole episode on his show about not needing to hear the birthday song or bringing to much attention to his birthday at a restaurant. Obviously his friends nor the restaurant listened.

Love that 'wheels on the road' sound. Related to that, I saw Lucinda Williams a couple nights ago. She sang for 2 hours! Pretty remarkable considering what she's been through. She said she was so appreciative of touring and said that us being there was healing for her. Lucinda has a great band too! I told people near me about when Lucinda, Wilco and others were inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall Of Fame. I only saw it on TV, but that was a great night. Thanks Jeffy, for everything!
Saw your performance last night at Timber Fest. Even though the venue is less than an hour from my home in Seattle, I’d never been there before. As always, we really enjoyed your set! Thanks for booking concerts in our neck of the woods! Safe travels. ♥️
