Hello from Boulder, Colorado, on a day off from tour. I played St. Louis a couple of days ago and ran into my friend Tim, the first person to ever record Uncle Tupelo, back in 1987. Below, I'm sharing his original recording of the song "Screen Door.” I think I’ll put “Screen Door” (2023 post-puberty) behind the paywall sometime soon.

1990 / July 17: Uncle Tupelo plays the legendary CBGB’s in New York City.
2002 / July 17: Wilco appears on Late Night with Conan O’Brien (Season 9, Episode 147) playing “I’m the Man Who Loves You" with the Max Weinberg 7 horn section and Jim O’Rourke on acoustic guitar.
2013 / July 20: My Morning Jacket joins Wilco to cover the Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows" as the final song of the set during the Mansfield, MA stop on the Americanarama Festival tour.
