2011 / October 17: Wilco’s Tiny Desk Concert is released digitally by NPR and consists of Tiny Desk versions of “Dawned on Me,” “Whole Love,” “Born Alone”, and “War on War”.
1999 / October 19: Jeff plays a solo show at Lounge Ax and debuts the songs “Shakin’ Sugar,” “Heavy Metal Drummer”, and “Ashes of American Flags.” He closes the show with a cover of Hank Snow’s “(Now and Then There's) A Fool Such As I”.
2020 / October 20: Jeff’s second book, How to Write One Song, is published and makes the New York Times bestseller list.
2020 / October 23: Love Is the King is released digitally, and The Tweedy Show #109 features the entire new album plus two covers, “The Old Country Waltz'' by Neil Young and “Reincarnation” by Roger Miller.

Thanks for stopping by our little town of Lexington last night! Quite a rowdy crowd indeed - strange for us I think, especially in such a theatrical setting. Glad you (claim to have) had a good time. You're clearly making progress with your pre-show zen meditations though. Might wanna stay away from soft shelled crabs in landlocked states tho. That just won't end well as you can attest.
