2011 / October 17: Wilco’s Tiny Desk Concert is released digitally by NPR and consists of Tiny Desk versions of “Dawned on Me,” “Whole Love,” “Born Alone”, and “War on War”.
1999 / October 19: Jeff plays a solo show at Lounge Ax and debuts the songs “Shakin’ Sugar,” “Heavy Metal Drummer”, and “Ashes of American Flags.” He closes the show with a cover of Hank Snow’s “(Now and Then There's) A Fool Such As I”.
2020 / October 20: Jeff’s second book, How to Write One Song, is published and makes the New York Times bestseller list.
2020 / October 23: Love Is the King is released digitally, and The Tweedy Show #109 features the entire new album plus two covers, “The Old Country Waltz'' by Neil Young and “Reincarnation” by Roger Miller.

Read your book and immediately forced myself to write/play. I hadn’t picked up my guitar since I got sober many many years ago. Very proud of the songs that came out...your book gave me the courage to call myself (very quietly) a songwriter...again, thanks friend!
