Jeff!!! A few nights ago in Indy...then last night in Newport 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀🌕
You guys kicked ass, yet again!! As I sit here in my classroom, trying my best to cope with re-entry after 2 phenomenal nights, I am just completely lost in my thoughts and pure euphoria from last night. It was magic. Pure magic.
One of my absolute favorite things about being on the rail is witnessing the connection and joy of the band. Watching your smiles to each other and interactions together is beautiful. The band’s joy and energy is obvious and contagious. There is no place like a Wilco show. There is no better place than on the rail at a Wilco show. Leaving the show last night, the entire audience was shaking with happiness, excitement and gratitude. There was a powerful buzz that took my breath away. The power of music, the power of Wilco’s music changes lives and helps so many different people, in so many different ways. I hope all of Wilco has a clue how powerful your music and live experiences are to us.
✨Thank you ✨to all of you and the entire Wilcrew for making all of the magic possible. ✨ Thank you ✨ Thank you ✨
Hey Captain! Used to work at WYEP in Pittsburgh and immediately forwarded this on to my friends at the station, who have friends at the Pirates and have already been in touch with your folx. Hope it works out soon. Back in Chicago now and happy to be a local client.
Y’all sounded FANTASTIC last night in Newport — the people running the soundboard had every note ringing crisp and clear. Truly awesome work from the crew behind the scenes!
There's a human INSIDE THE MASCOT?!?!?!

The Pirates are so bad they need you to do more than throw out the first pitch. You'll get the start also.

Wow, that’s a great photo! Kudos to Mikael!
Love this so much!! How did the Wilco Little League team do this year?
So when are you joining The Baseball Project, Captain? They can always use one more guitarist!
Pirates owner just bought my friend's distillery.

I love everything about this but especially when you said “aw, a beautiful Labrador” at the end! Hope the first pitch went well!
My White Sox need to get on it and invite you to throw out the first pitch at Comiskey!
Two thumbs up from this Ohio-born fan who recalls the heyday of Johnny Bench and The Big Red Machine. I hope the Pirates heed your call.
That’s such a cool picture! I have one of your first-pitch baseball cards. Want to sign it for me the next time I’m at a show?
Did anyone get a photo of you actually pitching--and maybe taking out the mascot at bat?
