susie i hate hearing my recorded voice too. but yours is very reassuring. jeff i love your sensitivity and vulnerability. maybe the key to relational longevity is pairing a cry baby and a bossy pants.
My husband and I started dating the same year Jeff and Susie did, and their advice is indicative of why we’re still together, especially the part about having a few separate interests. We cover way more ground and understand experiences through each other’s eyes. And, we always have something new to talk about. ♥️
Wow! What a thrill to get a response to my peanut-gallery question around “Misunderstood.” Suzie is correct — was intended to be humorous, and with that, I didn’t expect a response. Jeff and Susie responded — a story to tell the grandkids someday! I just want to thank you all for…ah, never mind…. Just, thank you!
Thank you so much for answering my question and all the others! Funny thing ….my hubby of 40 plus years has been working away from home the past 15 years for 80% of the year……. and he got home just 2 days ago after being away for 4 straight months. So he just got to listen to his first chit-chat from you talking about similarity in your early married life (as a child -supposedly immature? ) to our current situation (as seniors-supposedly mature?)…… and then to you answering that question and mine so filled with emotion you made us tear up as well…….. great advice and belly laughs as well!! Thanks again….and I agree…..Kevin should run for office👍
Absolutely love hearing the two of you and the back and forth. Jeff and Susie are like peanut butter and jelly! Classic, a strong duo and a tremendous comfort on those crappy days!! 💜💜
Perfect post for Thanksgiving! And Kevin? Dog grooming is a lot of work for not a lot of pay and to me was not very rewarding. But being a veterinary nurse is awesome!
Happy Thanksgiving Tweedys! And thank you for the Misunderstood explanation. I feel like TV and movies kind of set unrealistic expectations for me growing up that things would work out or be a certain way when they prob aren't that way for most people

Susie is a prodigious cryer too, as proven on many Tweedy Show episodes.
good point diane.
They’re both extraordinarily emotionally open. Two exceptional humans!

Don't you dare preformulate and vet your answers -- this was great! +1000 for spontaneous and off the cuff!
Jeff .... thank you ... just thank you for everything, it's all so appreciated.
