Spencer is a super-interesting drummer. He plays the kit in a musical way with a lot of subtlety.

10 years….doesn’t time fly? I saw you when you toured it, at the London Palladium, a great night. Here’s to more Tweedy family collaborations.

I love that album. I loved seeing Tweedy play at the Ryman in support of it here in my beloved complicated city. Thanks for letting look through the window of time with you here on the stacks of sub.

Thank you for these reflections and for what you have created together. You have become one of my favorite drummers and it’s a thrill to imagine what is to come. Keep on!

It’d be great to hear a couple of acoustic versions of some of these songs! This is up there with the best of Wilco! There were also loads of non album songs from around this time too if I remember correctly. Maybe ye should release a deluxe version some time?

Spencer - we’re the same age. I lost my dad to non-Hodgkins lymphoma last year, and was moved by your love for your parents in these words. Thank you for sharing.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to lung cancer, but he was 83. Must be hard to lose your dad so early.

10 years?! Yikes….hard to believe how long I’ve been under Tweedy spell. Loved seeing the family band!

“I can hear my mom now: no one and nothing birthed you but me.” 😂😂 every mother’s right: to brag until the end of time. Really enjoyed this story and have kept Sukierae in my kitchen since it came out, its experiments accompanying many cakes and soups. Here’s to the next ten and no longer having to torture babysitters! And not, in fact, torturing anyone 🥁🫶🏽
