Hello, this is your Captain speaking. If you've been paying attention to the news, you may have seen that Jon Bon Jovi recently saved a woman’s life by talking her off a bridge.
That made me think about the times I’ve said negative things about Jon Bon Jovi’s music. As penance for those comments, I thought I should learn one of his songs and share it with you, just to fully endorse Jon Bon Jovi, the big-hearted, wonderful human being who does good things for the world. And to show my commitment to the belief that that’s way more important than whether I like his music or not.

2001 / September 15: Wilco plays the Abbey Pub in Chicago with the Minus 5 opening. Wilco’s 16-song set includes two songs with the Minus 5, “Modern World” and “Lies of the Living Dead,” plus a cover of Mott the Hoople’s “I Wish I Was Your Mother.”
