Deeper Down, Common Sense, and Bob Dylan’s Beard Walk into a Bar…
+ Chit-Chat Check-In #87: Kind of a Harpo Marx Character
I’ve been re-learning my own songs for the Deep Cuts set at Solid Sound. Which isn’t that hard to be honest, because I wrote them.
I thought I’d share a few recordings I made of some of the songs I’m learning. “Deeper Down” in front of the paywall, and then “Common Sense” and “Bob Dylan’s 49th Beard” behind the paywall.
I recorded this Chit-Chat Check-In twice—Tom Schick is here, and he told me I could do better. And I don’t think I have. But I thought I would humor him. He’s kind of a Harpo Marx character. He doesn’t say a lot. But he’s got a horn he honks every once in a while.
