Comparing acoustic versions of “Evicted” and “Raspberry Beret”

I’ve heard some people say that “Evicted” sounds like Prince’s “Raspberry Beret.” So I decided to get out my guitar and play them side-by-side. 2004 / September 20: Wilco records a 16-song set for Austin City Limits at KRLU Studio in Austin, TX.

2014 / September 22: Jeff and Spencer, performing as the band Tweedy, are interviewed on The Colbert Report, where they also perform “Low Key” and “World Away” from Sukierae (dBpm Records, 2014). Tweedy also appears on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, where the band plays four songs.
