Hello from the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, where I’m playing tonight. In the post below, I’m sharing some sketches by courtroom sketch artist Elizabeth Williams. We asked her if she’d like a break from sketching you-know-who and she took us up on our offer, diligently providing us with 100% accurate documentary evidence of how all four of my shows in Brooklyn unfolded. There are a bunch of these and we aren’t quite sure what to do with them. Let us know what you think in the comments…

This Week In Wilco, Etc.
2013 / June 27: Wilco’s stop on the Americanarama tour includes a guest appearance by the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir on “Dead Flowers” by the Rolling Stones and “Friend of the Devil” by the Grateful Dead.
2003 / June 28: Sonic Youth opens for Wilco at Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA. Wilco’s 20-song set is later officially issued in the Nugs Front Of House series. Jim O’Rourke guests on guitar for “Not for the Season (Laminated Cat).”
2001 / June 29: Wilco plays Minneapolis’s First Avenue club and debut three new songs, including “Jesus, Etc.” and “War on War.”
2009 / June 30: Wilco (The Album) is released by Nonesuch Records.
