Many years ago, Wilco played “Broken Arrow” at a Music Cares benefit honoring Neil Young.
Afterwards, I got a letter from Neil that just said “Wow!” along with a simple drawing of a broken arrow. As of this moment I can’t quite put my hand to it, but when I find it again I’ll be sure to share it with you all. It’s here somewhere…
Down below, behind the paywall, is an acoustic version of “Broken Arrow” that I recorded today. Also, thank you for all of the amazing song suggestions. I played through a bunch of them and had a great time learning and relearning some familiar and not-so-familiar tunes. You folks have great taste. Makes me proud. OxO
