Chit-Chat Check-In #136 • Transcript
On the Twilight Override tour, we’ve been playing a song in each city that we won’t play anywhere else. And we try to pick a song that’s related to the city we’re in.
In Philadelphia, we played “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge, because they’re from Philadelphia. It also seemed like an appropriate song for a family band to sing. At the bottom of this post we have a video of us rehearsing it in the green room, getting ready for the show.
In other news, I made a pour over coffee for Susie. Not newsworthy, necessarily, but it made her happy.

👏👏👏👏👏👏wahoo! We are family sounded awesome in rehearsal - can’t imagine how good it sounded onstage! 🥳🥳
I’m dipping my toe back into the matrix of the world (and my inbox) after an 8-night silent meditation retreat, and this song was a perfect way to reenter. ✨
Feel Free made appearances thru my mind everyday on retreat — truly a song that never ends 💗
