Jury’s still out for me on Mr Winter but this song is special (his video for it is cool too). BUT: have you heard SSF performer and Chicago’s own Elizabeth Moen’s version of this song? Holy sh*t, it’ll stop you in your tracks. Enjoy V-day in Paree with your beloveds and you’ll soon be reunited with your darling S. Thanks for thinking of us on V Day.

I was thinking about you on this topic, thinking it’s kind of a cilantro thing, then today I read an NYT columnist make the same comparison a few wks ago. I guess count yourself lucky to stay on the pool deck vs the trouble of falling in. i’m with you I love the Lucas Hedges video. xoxo

Dig it. Enjoy Paris & please let our European allies that most of us are deeply ashamed of our government’s arrogant dismissals of the most important alliance in modern history.

Beautiful song. Going to have to check out Cameron Winter and Geese. As far as Valentines Day, my wife is a florist and works her butt off, so not a big fan. Besides I think if you love someone you should celebrate that every day,not just once a year.

Love most certainly takes miles and years….

Wishing all the Tweedy’s and the band a fantabulous tour overseas ❤️

When I was in Paris by myself some years ago I had to laugh every time I went to a sit down eatery or bar because the person at the door always said , in such a questioning French accent , “Table for 2???” And I’d reply , “Table for 1?” ! I was always seated in the back by the toilets ….

Thank you for the beautiful cover and your simple-but-says-it-all comment re Cameron and Geese. It’s been disappointing to see the unabashed Geese-hating, including from so many Wilco fans. No art will ever touch everyone.

Thanks for turning me onto Cameron. Had never heard of him before. And now I’m obsessed!!

This was a beautiful post! It hit perfectly tonight. My husband and I listened to the Cameron cover a couple of times. It sounded so perfect for the moment. (We love Geese!) Then we ended up talking about some of our favorite Wilco moments over the past 30 some years. We were babies at those first shows! Then we went on an evening walk through our snowy Vermont neighborhood with our dog. It might have been the best V-Day ever!

I accidentally brought my wife to Paris for Valentines Day, from north of England - to see you! (And it did feel a bit on the nose, you’re not wrong. But that was an amazing show we just saw, thank you!

Jeff: Thanks for Sky Blue Sky! Sorry Cameron couldn't make it b/c of SNL, but glad to have been listening to him and Geese since the original SBS lineup was announced, so very worth it.
