This Starship journey is such a sweet, beautiful way to stay connected. I love all components. I am so grateful to be a part of this. A flight like this with your favorite musician/songwriter as the captain, is a gift. A dream. A gem.
Getting updates feels like getting a hug from a dear friend you haven’t seen in awhile. It just feels good.
So that’s what a real Jack-O-Lantern looks like? From over here in Oz I always thought they were just Halloween pumpkin lanterns. The real thing looks like it probably reeks…..I’m holding my nose just looking at your photo! Does it??? Looking forward to the sage ruminations to come re all our many questions……yep we sure do need a lotta help out here….. it’s a so much safer feeling being in the Starship……
Thx. I played Uncle Tupelo music 1987-1989 without knowing it was you lol, in college, when I was an (unpaid) volunteer d j while in college for 18 months. WKDI FM in DeKalb, IL. Best job of my life besides being a mom. Flash forward to last Thursday: I got a ticket spontaneously to go see Wilco in Des Moines, three hours before the show, pd not free of course ticket lol. I’m a transplant here from Chicagoland, and seeing all of you wa just fantastic. Great show. Great soul of band most important b t w. May I see you play at the Lounge Ax someday again in life but probably in the afterlife if Lounge Ax is gone in the 21st century boo hoo. Hugs and all the best and pls play Des Moines again soon ( consider the Hoyt Sherman Place as a venue to play indoors) thx for reading. Sincerely, Inga :)
Jeff, I was hiking in Harriman State Park over the weekend and saw so many mushrooms - purple ones, polka-dotted ones, some looking like exactly like the tree they were growing under. One of my fellow hikers suggested a documentary on Netflix about mushrooms. Have you seen it?
