Alright, I see I’m not alone in mourning the passing of Christine McVie today. I got married in June, and my wife and I chose “Everywhere” for our first dance. The song is filled with the expectancy of new love; the inevitability of our heart strength overtaking our fears; the wonder of finding your match: and all the twinkling shimmering joy that sharing yourself with another can provide. Plus, that bass line! So while it may not be a wildly original request on a day like today, it’s a song that truly makes me happy, and I know you’d give it that special Jeffy touch ✌🏼💗(maybe John could join you?)
How about "Clocks and Spoons" by the late John Prine? It seems to be a tune that your voice would adapt to very well Captain! Also love how you explained the football vs soccer dilemma so clearly! Thanks as this Starship is a great educational value!
How about some Fleetwood Mac in honor of Christine McVie?
Hold On by Tom Waits - from Mule Variations
Songbird or You Make Loving Fun
RIP Christine McVie
