2009 / July 13: Wilco plays Keyspan Park in Brooklyn, NY with Yo La Tengo opening. Yo La Tengo joins Wilco for “Spiders (Kidsmoke)” , and Feist joins the band for “You and I”, “California Stars,” “You Never Know” and “Hoodoo Voodoo”, the last three also featuring Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear.

2020 / July 14: The HBO documentary Showbiz Kids is released, featuring a Schmilco track, “If I Ever Was a Child”, and another Jeff composition called “At a Distance.” Jeff, Spencer, and Sammy Tweedy also score the film.

1990 / July 16: Uncle Tupelo opens for Teenage Fanclub at Khyber Pass in Philadelphia, PA.
