Glad you are all home safe and sound. A few of us were rerouted at the last minute on the same flight to Chicago. I won’t lie, we all wanted to come tell you how much it meant to us, but we wanted to respect your space. I’ll second your statement about it being a wonderful communal event—so happy to see so many of my Wilco extended family. Thank you! Enjoy your respite at home before hitting the road again. I’ll see you in San Diego. Ps. Lots of buzz about that gorgeous handcrafted guitar cover. Looking forward to Mark’s post on it once it’s back home.

Awesome second Solid Sound for us. Loving the new album. Spencer and Sammy were great everywhere they popped up. Thanks for the discreet wave back at the gate in Albany. When the flight landed, the young lady next to me, after having been silent the whole trip, said, "If I told you that Jeff Tweedy is on this flight, would it mean anything to you." I couldn't express how much :) Thanks again for keeping these experiences coming. They mean so much to all of us.

Maybe it’s because we were all there for the same reason, but I have to say this was one of the kindest festival crowds I’ve ever experienced. I can’t believe it took me this long to make the trip out there. Thanks for curating an amazing weekend.

I agree 100% that there are no words for the beauty of a Solid Sound experience and it is such a wonderfully amazing communal

event. It’s one of my absolute favorite places on this earth. Favorite. Two days before I was supposed to leave, I tested positive. The disappointment of missing SSF gutted me. It really hurt. However, I found solace that so many others could still enjoy such a cathartic experience. Thank you (and everyone else who makes the weekend possible) for providing a place that we all cannot wait to visit time and time again.

:: Thank yoU ::

Cruel Country album is infinite in its truth and power. I love it.

Hey, thank YOU and everyone involved for another great weekend at Solid Sound. They get better and better. Also, in addition to the show offs who don't litter, shout out to the porta-potty users and maintainers! Talk about your irregular festival behavior...those things are always in the cleanest condition!

Loved Solid Sound 2022. Stayed in the dorm rooms this time. How odd to think of going off to college and the first night on campus, sleeping with a stranger. Not the case this time as my friend of 40 years joined me again in North Adams. Outside Hoosac Hall there was a bench dedicated to the memory of John Wilbur (Class of 1981) inscribed with these words from Mark Twain: “You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes you meet those people you can't forget. Those are your friends.” Nice to be among thousands of friends at MASS MoCa again this year. I won't forget you.

Side note: I recorded some video after a July 2012 show in Kane County that had a bit more litter than Joe's Field did...must have been all those Andrew Bird fans. Love to all of you.

We had an amazing time at Solid Sound! It was our second time, and the first time we took our girls. They loved every minute and wanted to stay for 3 more days! Can’t wait for the next one. Thank you Jeff & Wilco for the best weekend! A Lifetime To Find is my new favorite song, and I’m so glad I got to hear it live!
